MCA

Master of Science in Information Technology (abbreviated M.Sc. ITMSc IT or MSIT) is a type of postgraduate academic master’s degree usually offered in a University’s College of Business and in the recent years in integrated Information Science & Technology colleges. The MSIT degree is designed for those managing information technology, especially the information systems development process. The MSIT degree is functionally equivalent to a Master of Information Systems Management, which is one of several specialized master’s degree programs recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). MCA is a three-year professional master’s degree in the field of computer applications, awarded in India.The MCA program is designed for students with the variety of undergraduate backgrounds, such as commerce and science, focusing in the field of IT.

A joint committee of Association for Information Systems (AIS) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) members develop a model curriculum for the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIT). The most recent version of the MSIS Model Curriculum was published in 2006.

PGDCA

there are many IT courses like Diploma in Computer Application, Engineering in Computer Science, Engineering in Information Systems, Bachelor of Computer Applications (i.e.) BCA, etc. PGDCA is a 1-year degree program and it is a course related to the computer industry. Generally, the course covers software programming and applications like the application of the operating systems, C, C++, Data Structure and many other programming languages.
In India, there are many universities and colleges who are offering PGDCA courses in distance education. The student is required to fulfil all the selection criteria to finally get selected. After PGDCA student can apply for job after the completion of the course or you can do further studies after the PGDCA or you can start your career by working in software companies. There are a number of job profiles which are available to the students of PGDCA. All the sectors are open to the PGDCA student, but the condition is there should be some requirement there. The better the student performs; the better will be the chances of his bright future.
